

IdaMae Family Foundation, Inc.’s mission is to address the needs of the community by offering programs and philanthropic activities that will enhance the quality of life by creating opportunities for lifelong learning, personal growth and development, and preservation of the community culture. The IdaMae Family Foundation, Inc. limits its major giving, programs, and services to the targeted areas in the surrounding communities of Castalia Heights in Memphis, Tennessee and communities in and around Auburn Gresham and Washington Heights in Chicago, Illinois.

In carrying out the mission of the IdaMae Family Foundation, the organization shall seek to accomplish the following goals:

Provide charitable contributions in support of the community and its residents.

Offer educational and self-awareness forums to aid in the personal growth and development of neighborhood youth and young adults.

The Foundation host 2-3 programs each year
Thanksgiving Programs

Distribute Thanksgiving turkeys and winter coats to needy residents of the community.
Partnership Program with Grammar and High Schools

Provide onsite and on-going financial literacy and college preparation seminars for grammar and high school students.
Community Outreach

Collaborate with other non-profit organizations to provide community-wide programs that benefit youth and senior citizens.
Senior Spa and Pamper Party

Host senior Women Pamper and Spa Party to rejuvenate the soul and spirit.
Annual Youth Conference

Two-day Student Success and Leadership Conference bringing together students from various high schools featuring workshops on entrepreneurship, college prep, self discovery, goal setting, professional development, and more.
